Does this product seal the pouches so you can take them along in a diaper bag, or do they have to be refrigerated/frozen?

It doesn’t seal them, you have a cap you screw on them. If you just made the food you can cap it and toss it in a diaper bag or freeze/refrigerate.

Is this product good to use?

Great for baby food. I put a jar of baby food into it to feed my child. Makes it faster, easier and able to feed them a variety of food on the go.
